Joel Segarra holds a PhD from the University of Barcelona and is member of the Integrative Crop Ecophysiology Group and Agrotecnio. His research focuses on the use of remote sensing and GIS for vegetation monitoring and phenotyping in Mediterranean agro-ecosystems. He is interested in plants and global change, plant ecophysiology, remote sensing, spatial analysis, geography, archaeology/Neolithic societies and agrobiodiversity.
