Joel Segarra is a PhD student at the Integrative Crop Ecophysiology Group of the University of Barcelona. His research focuses on the use of remote sensing and GIS tools for crop monitoring and
phenotyping of wheat genotypes grown in Iberian agrosystems. He is interested in phenotyping, plants and global change, remote sensing, spatial analysis, crop type classification, landscape agroecology and agrobiodiversity.
