Importance of the research:Susan

Wheat and Pearl millet are the most important cereals in the Mediterranean and Semi – arid environment; their adaptation to drought among the decades and different zones is determined by the genotypic and the environmental component. The study of their physiological response under water restriction joined to its transcriptomic profile can enhance the understanding of their growth mechanisms under future changes on temperature and water limitation.
